Many well-known music talents and bands have come out of Ireland. Boyzone is a famous boy band group from Ireland. It started earning worldwide fame from 1994. They were primitively formed when replying to a call for a new Irish boy band group, and the members of Boyzone – the late Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy, and Ronan Keating – were handpicked from among three hundred applicants who had replied to the advertisement. Sine 1993, Boyzone have sold over 10 million music albums. Boyzone have taken a lot of effort as well as fan mail and it has not been easygoing every-time. Pop bands need crocodile thick skin to survive, but the Boyzone boys have done good.

In 2009, a long-time band member Stephen Gately died that left his former band mates both shocked and shaken. The group dedicated its new album “Brother” as a tribute to Stephen. This Dublin-based band group took the British pop charts by storm and had an immense fan base. Ronan Keating, lead singer, had a boyish appeal and good looks with a very good voice.

At many concerts, you can see millions of fans going wild and cheering for their favorite Boyzone band. In 1994, Boyzone played mainly in pubs and clubs all over Northern Ireland. They released many popular albums such as: – ‘A Different Beat’, ‘Where We Belong’, ‘Brother’ to name a few. The band peaked as number one in both the Ireland and UK, exhibiting its panoramic appeal to worldwide audiences.
